Figaro Angel Network (FAN) is a charitable organization dedicated to providing assistance
to communities that have been devastated
by disaster.
On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti. The country’s infrastructure was decimated.
Over 250,000 adults and children died.
Millions are still homeless.
FAN’s present mission is to provide food, shelter, medical care and education to the residents
of Haiti.
FAN members who have traveled to Haiti report that thousands are still sleeping in the street. Adults and children are dying of disease and starvation. Ongoing emergency support and relief efforts are urgently needed to prevent more deaths due to lack of food, shelter and sanitation.
The Figaro Angel Network, through the generosity of donors and volunteers, has several programs in place to assist with the immediate health crisis and to support the longer term rebuilding of crucial infrastructure elements such as homes, hospitals and schools.
